The Glens Falls Dragons, proud members of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League have announced internship opportunities for the 2021 season. The Dragons play 25 home games at East Field in Glens Falls, NY, only 8 miles from Lake George, one of the greatest vacation destinations in the Northeast. Our season lasts from May 29th to July 31st.
Program Description:
Members of the internship program will be exposed to all facets of baseball operations and will gain practical, in-depth experience that covers various aspects of sports management, including theme night creation, ballpark entertainment, sales and business presentations.
Work Schedule:
The summer internship will run from May 12th to August 6th. Hours will be 9AM-5PM on non-game nights and from 2PM until the end of the game on game nights.
Activities:
- Rotate between departments of your choice to experience the work that you are interested in. This includes: Ticket operations, sales, stadium operations, marketing, media relations and community relations. All interns will be involved with gameday operations
- Assist in preparation and execution of baseball operations
- Interns will team up and will be responsible for creating a theme night idea, then marketing, selling and executing their idea during a Dragons game
***PLEASE NOTE*** Interns must live within commuting distance or have housing in the Glens Falls, NY area for the entire duration of the internship. Please be sure to attach a cover letter and resume when applying to be considered for an interview.
